STARTING WITH THE FUNDAMENTALS
The first step in this transformative journey was the establishment of a comprehensive design system for Nodalview's web platform and mobile app. Collaborating closely with product managers and the engineering team, we laid down the blueprint for a consistent, user-centric design language that would guide the organization's design efforts.
TRUST THE PROCESS
In collaboration with Dualoop, we introduced a comprehensive product framework that encompassed both discovery and delivery. Figma, the industry-standard design tool, played a pivotal role in this transformation. We implemented a seamless workflow within Figma, promoting enhanced collaboration among designers, product managers, and engineers. This framework not only facilitated the efficient communication of design decisions but also significantly reduced friction within the development pipeline, fostering a more cohesive and productive working environment.
VALIDATE BEFORE YOU BUILD
To ensure that design decisions were grounded in user insights, we initiated user research efforts. This included conducting user interviews and testing prototypes using Maze, a powerful user testing platform. These activities allowed Nodalview to understand its users' needs, pain points, and preferences, providing invaluable guidance for design iterations.

With the foundational work in place, Nodalview was ready to expand its design capabilities. We helped scaling the product team, bringing in new designers who shared the organization's commitment to user-centric design. This expansion allowed Nodalview to build multiple product teams, each dedicated to specific aspects of the platform.

Throughout this transformation, one of our Senior Product Designers (Sebastiaan) took on the role of Lead Product Designer, providing leadership and guidance to the growing design team. As Nodalview continued to grow, the design practice evolved from a small initiative to an integral part of the organization, contributing to the company's rapid success.
